Our standards are based on the standards of the National Organic Program. Our farm was Certified Organic for 9 years, under the Colorado Department of Agriculture, from 1993-2002.
In 2003 we switched to Certified Naturally Grown, then in 2012 we switched to self-certification.
Throughout our 21 year history of farming here, we have practiced wholesome & slow farming, bringing a cornucopia of produce to Western Colorado without the use of toxic chemicals.
I hereby certify that we follow organic practices, we use only natural, plant and animal based fertilizers and pesticides. We don’t use herbicides, instead relying entirely on mechanical cultivation.
